I am a Scottish documentary researcher and self-shooting PD, working between documentary and commercial worlds.
The interconnectedness of cultural expressions across time and space is a theme I find myself exploring time and again. Both in narrative and aesthetics, I aim to excavate the magic that lies underneath ordinary, everyday moments.
With an MA in History, I prioritise rigorous research, thoughtful analysis, and truthful representation of hidden people and precincts in my work.
My experience directing music videos and fashion films has honed my eye for striking visuals and dynamic editing styles, which has seeped into my approach to non-fiction.
Additionally, I have experience in development research of factual entertainment programming for the BAFTA award-winning Embankment Films, and in script development and research for Montesolaro Films.
In 2024, I am looking forward to new collaborations of all shapes and sizes and expanding my narrative and commercial reels.
